White Adds All-State Honor to Career

RALEIGH, N.C. - Four-year Meredith College softball standout Amanda White added a third All-State honor to her long list of career awards as announced Tuesday from the North Carolina Collegiate Sports Information Association with a first team selection as a utility player. White spent time at shortstop, second base and on the mound for Meredith this year.

 Concluding a tremendous career atop all of NCAA Division III with a .990 slugging percentage, White currently leads Meredith all-time in 11 career categories, including 25 home runs and 189 hits. She batted .495 this spring, collecting nine homers, 16 doubles and 39 RBI in her final season with the Avenging Angels.
White received All-State first team honors in 2012 and as a second team selection in 2013.
