The 2014 USA South Player of the Year Amanda White earned her stripes once again leading the Angels with six hits and six RBI on the day. White tallied 13 total bases with a home run in game one to go along with a pair of doubles and a triple on the day.
Third baseman Brittany Bucklin hit five-of-eight with a pair of doubles and five RBI.
Courtney Saunders and Maria Annunziata maintained the momentum started earlier in the day each recording her first collegiate home run. With two outs on the scoreboard in the top of the third, freshman left fielder Annunziata drilled her homer to left, scoring Saunders on the play.
Saunders led off in the fifth frame with a solo home run to launch a four-run frame for the Angels.
Rookie Taylor Jackson notched a pair of wins in her pitching debut with the Angels. Jackson pitched eight innings on the day with zero earned runs on five hits with seven strikeouts.
